I bought this book on a whim when it was on sale. I thought it was about Zombies but it isn't just something sort of similar. I got to a point where I thought it was very similar to the Downside Ghost series but I think the Downside Ghost series is SO much better.

I might read another of her books but there are so many books out there to read that it will probably be a while before I do.

Angels Flying With One Wing (The Stonebridge Trilogy, #2) - Suzanne Kimball The story has promise but could use an editor. The hero's inner voice sounded more like a high school girl's fantasy.
Obsidian (Lux, #1) - Jennifer L. Armentrout I enjoyed reading this book. I'm a sucker for a book where they seem to hate each other but can't help but be drawn to each other. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens in the next book.
Desire Untamed (Feral Warriors, #1) - Pamela Palmer I enjoyed this story, but I could have lived without the orgasms from kissing or licking her wounds but I guess that was suppose to show us that they were truly connected. It just seemed a bit much. Overall it was a good fast read for a first book in a series and I will read more of the Feral Warriors books.
Murder Takes the Cake (Daphne Martin Mystery, #1) - Gayle Trent I wasn't in the mood for deep reading. I was looking for something fast and fun. This fit the bill perfectly.
Dead Case in Deadwood - Ann Charles This is definitely my favorite of the series. I have to say that old man Harvey just cracks me up. He is the perfect sidekick for Violet. Cornelius was a great addition to the characters Violet deals with and I sure hope we get to see him again.
Home (Downside Ghosts): A HeroesandHeartbreakers.com Original - Stacia Kane Loved reading Chess and Terrible in love! Melted my heart and gave me tingles.
Unholy Magic (Downside Ghosts, #2) - Stacia Kane This is my first review so be gentle with me.I was leery when I started this series. This is a whole new world of characters for me. They are well outside of my comfort zone. I normally would not read about people who used drugs. That is a turn off for me. I actually enjoyed the story and all of the characters in spite of that. The characters are well written and it seems like we get to see a bit more of what makes Chess tick in each book. She is a damaged soul that I just want to wrap my arms around. I started to read this series based on an article and comments I read on Heros and Heartbreakers.com that mentioned Terrible. In this book, I found myself falling a bit in love with Terrible and could see where they were coming from. There were a couple of times when a chapter ended with Chess and Terrible and I wished it had gone a bit farther. I just wish we could see a bit more of his thoughts. He always seems to be there for Chess when she needs him. She knows that he will back her up. My heart broke for him in the cemetery scene. It's funny how they start off telling you how ugly a guy is physically but the further you go the more that disappears and in my mind he isn't ugly at all.
